Hosting and visiting this website
This website is hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. When you visit it, STRATO automatically processes data transmitted by your browser: IP address, date and time, the page requested, referrer, browser type and operating system. This data is technically necessary to deliver the site and keep it secure (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR) and is deleted after a short time. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with STRATO.

If you write to me, I process your details in order to answer your enquiry (Art. 6 (1) (b) and (f) GDPR). I do not pass them on without your consent and delete them once the enquiry has been dealt with, unless retention obligations apply.

The fonts used on this website are stored on this server. No connection to other providers is made to load them.
Videos
Videos hosted directly on this website are played without involving third parties. Videos from YouTube (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) or Vimeo (Vimeo.com, Inc., New York, USA) are only loaded once you click “Play”. Only then is data such as your IP address transmitted to the respective provider, including to the USA; both providers are certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. YouTube videos are embedded in privacy-enhanced mode. The legal basis is your consent given by the click (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time by reloading the page.
Cookies and visitor statistics
This website does not set any cookies for visitors and does not use third-party analytics services. A technically necessary session cookie is only set when the operator logs in to edit the content.
To see which content is read, this website keeps its own anonymous visitor statistics on the operator’s server. The following is recorded: the page visited, date and time, how long the page was open and how far it was scrolled, which sections were viewed and which links and buttons on this website were clicked, the domain of the page you came from, the approximate location (city and country) and, from the information sent by your browser, the type of device (phone, tablet, computer), the operating system and the language.
Your IP address is not stored. It is only used briefly to determine the approximate location using a database on this server, without any data going to third parties. To group several page views on the same day into one visit, a checksum is created from the IP address and browser identifier together with a random key generated anew each day. The key is discarded after one day; after that, the checksum can no longer be linked to anyone. If “Do Not Track” or “Global Privacy Control” is enabled in your browser, nothing is recorded. The records are deleted after 13 months at the latest and are not passed on.
If a technical error occurs while displaying the page, the website stores a short error message with the affected page and the browser type, without the IP address, so that the error can be fixed. These records are deleted after 30 days.
The legal basis is the legitimate interest in an error-free website designed according to its visitors’ needs (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). You can object to this at any time, for example by enabling “Do Not Track” in your browser or by sending me an email.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase and restrict the processing of your data, the right to data portability and the right to object to processing. You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.
